# Ingredient List:
→ Pasta
01 - 12 oz short pasta such as penne, fusilli, or rigatoni
→ Cheese & Vegetables
02 - 5.3 oz Boursin garlic and herb cheese
03 - 14 oz cherry tomatoes, whole
04 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
→ Seasonings & Garnishes
06 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or herbes de Provence
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
08 - 1 handful fresh basil leaves, torn
09 - 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese, optional
# Steps:
01 - Set the oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the other components.
02 - Arrange the cherry tomatoes in an even layer in a medium baking dish. Add minced garlic and drizzle with olive oil. Season generously with dried Italian herbs, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss well to evenly coat the tomatoes.
03 - Place the whole block of Boursin cheese in the center of the dish, nestled among the seasoned tomatoes.
04 - Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cherry tomatoes are blistered and the Boursin is soft and melting.
05 - While the cheese bakes, cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta using a colander.
06 - Remove the baking dish from the oven. Using a mixing spoon, carefully mash the softened Boursin and roasted tomatoes together within the dish to create a creamy sauce.
07 - Add the drained pasta to the baking dish. Mix thoroughly to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
08 - Garnish with torn fresh basil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if using. Serve immediately.
