# Ingredient List:
→ Dough
01 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
→ Filling
02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration
10 - 16 grape tomatoes or small cherry tomatoes
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, optional for garnish
# Steps:
01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
04 - Lightly brush each dough triangle with the butter-herb mixture, then evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over each triangle.
05 - Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, forming crescent shapes.
06 - Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet to form a Christmas tree shape: begin with one roll at the top, then two rows beneath with increasing numbers, ending with five rolls at the base and remaining rolls as the trunk below.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
08 - Remove from the oven and, while warm, brush the crescents with any remaining butter-herb mixture.
09 - Garnish the tree with grape tomatoes as ornaments and sprinkle additional parsley if desired.
10 - Serve the crescent roll trees warm as an appetizer or festive snack.
