I first made these bacon wrapped dates for a family gathering. Everyone couldn't stop reaching for more andamp impressed even picky eaters with the combination of creamy cheese, crunchy nuts, andamp crispy bacon.

Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients: 16 Medjool dates, pitted; 8 slices bacon, halved crosswise
  • Filling: 60 g (about 4 tbsp) cream cheese, softened; 32 walnut halves (about 40 g)

Instructions

Prepare Oven:
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prep Dates:
Make a small slit in each date andamp remove the pit if not already pitted.
Stuff Dates:
Fill each date with about ½ teaspoon of cream cheese andamp insert a walnut half into the center.
Close & Wrap:
Gently press the dates closed. Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon andamp secure with a toothpick.
Arrange & Bake:
Arrange the bacon-wrapped dates seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes, turning halfway through, until bacon is crisp andamp golden.
Serve:
Remove from oven andamp let cool slightly before serving.
